I'm not quite sure what it is that attracts me to dry climate plants in the wettest garden I have ever had.
It isn't sensible but this is a lovely plant and it prospers after a fashion in the greenhouse.

Native to Italy and North Africa it grows well in dry, sunny locations in the garden. I have grown it on top of a stone wall vbut it needed a t5rowel of soil
to get established in early spring.
