Correa decumbens
15th August 2015
A low spreading species from South Australia and Kangaroo Island. It is said to be one of the hardiest species and I have seen it growing well in gardens in the home counties.
I decided not to take the chance too soon and tried to keep it in the greenhouse for the first year, at the end of which it was dead. I should have put it straight out, should have rooted cuttings
and all the other sensible things to have done (after the event).
