A bright red flowered form originally from Romania. It has also been raised from seed and there are some poorer
versions to be found.
It is quite startling as the flowers open among the snowdrops but the rabbits seem to damage it - I dont think they eat it
but they investigate, and the stems are rather frail and brittle. At present it is holding its own, neither expanding nor contracting,
but I am greedy enough to want a carpet under the trees.

Holding its own under the trees, possibly expanding slowly.
