Colocasia esculenta 'Elepaio'
2nd September 2007
Named after a rare Hawaian flycatcher (unfortunately rather a lot of Hawaian birds are now rare, thanks to people, pigs and alien plants). The leaves are variegated with speckles
of white that sometimes make a spectacular impact. It has made a good compact plant here, and I am hoping that it does well through the winter.
