Crinodendron patagua
7th April 2020
Crinodendron patagua makes a medium sized tree with rather thin, semi-evergreen growth. It has a reputation for being a little tender but I have seen large
specimens scattered throughout southern England. Small white flowers are produced in late summer. I have finally planted a young one out - several specimens have struggled in pots in the greenhouse over the years.
It should prosper outside and if so it will be an interesting addition to the perimeter hedge!
