Crocosmia 'Star of the East'
Very large, very pale, very beautiful flowers, but not very hardy unfortunately.
Raised by George Davidson in 1910. (The romantic version of the story says that he raised this cultivar, realised that
he would never improve on it, and abandoned breeding Crocosmia!)
