I bought this plant from a local nursery, who had allowed it to be frosted. All the leaves had been bronzed, and have subsequently died, but it has produced a new flush of foliage,
so I think it is going to be fine. From eastern Asia and the warmer Pacific Islands, there is no reason to expect it to tolerate cold.
