Cyclamen libanoticum
23rd March 2008
During the spring I dipped my toes a little deeper in the murky waters of Cyclamen (I bought one or two new ones).
I have admired this for years in other peoples alpine houses, and now it is time to give it a go myself.
From the Lebanon mountains to the north-east of Beirut, it is becoming quite rare in the wild.

A couple of bad winters since the last picture was taken has left me without a plant
showing the distinctive rosy glow of life. Time to start again.
