I didn't know Deuterocohnia at all until Abromeitiella got merged with it. The hardiness of some of the larger growing species
is still open to question, though this one is doing well at present in a cold greenhouse.

It has grown well through a series of harsh winters (in the greenhouse) and is now growing in a 2 gallon bucket.

The species hails from Bolivia with outposts in Peru and Argentina, where it glows in rock clefts. The arching
flower scapes bear pendulous spikelets of green flowers and flower repeatedly for several seasons, which came
as a surprise when it happened.
