Deuterocohnia meziana

I was given a small offset and I believe it has orange flowers. The sum of my knowledge at the time.
Experience suggests that it doesn't like to be too dry, or it is a bit tender, it is not prospering among the Agave.
It comes from southeastern Bolivia, northern Paraguay and western Brazil.
While writing this note (2017) I have before me pictures from 2013, 2014 and March 2015 but nothing more recent.
Motivated by some doubt about the condition of the plant I have taken a torchlit trip up to the Agave house
and can unfortunately confirm that it is dead.
