Dianthus 'Kledg12163' PINK KISSES
26th June 2016
There is no distant corner of the plant world that plant breeders haven't visited in their quest for improvement,
and so it is that tiny Dianthus have been visited with commercial intent.
I quite like it though it was being sold in a paper pot printed with some self-aggrandising advertising. Even
stacked by the thousand in rank after rank of double pinkness it was enchanting (though I do understand that
many people will feel obliged to dislike it on principle).
A dwarf carnation hybrid raised by Nils Klemm and Martin Glawe in Germany in 2009 and granted Plant Breeders Rights in 2014.
