Dierama mossii
8th June 2006
Dierama are tall plants with thin columns of rather stiff leaves, and arching wiry flowering stems supporting the flowers. They make a
excellent addition to a sunny border,
requiring almost no ground space, but it is almost impossible to photograph the whole plant. Close-ups of the flowers are quite misleading.
Dierama mossii is one of the smaller species, flowering quite early in the season. Excellent in a pot.
