Diplazium australe

A pretty fern from New Zealand and Australia, evergreen in a mild winter but often deciduous.
I have been warned that it can be vigorous, almost weedy but so far it has been well behaved (I have had it for two years).
In Australia it occurs along the east coast, mostly at the southern end but it does reach up into the
Queensland rainforest. There is also a population on Norfolk Island, and I would love to think
my plant came from there but it is more probably from New Zealand.
