Red or scarlet hybrid with large flowers. D. Betty's Bay x uniflora. It is mostly D.uniflora with a tiny splash
of D.racemosa added several generations ago which gives it vigour, large flowers and adds a few extra to the stem for good measure.
Raised by Mrs J. van Niekerk and registered in 1982.
