Dodecatheon pulchellum Radicatum Group

A plant that is only here as a test specimen. Someone has suggested that Dodecatheon might do very well in my woodland. I think it is unlikely
but it is worth testing. Ideally I would put the plant out in early spring before the ground started to dry but we don't live in an ideal world. I'm going out to plant it this minute.

The result is that it flowered and then disappeared permanently.
