Doodia aspera
14th May 2016
Doodia aspera is a common fern from the eastern states of Australia growing from the rainforest margins in Queensland to the Eucalyptus forests
of Victoria in the south. It has recently been propagated and sold on a larger scale and it may turn out to be as hardy as Doodia media, which it
closely resembles. On the other hand it may not. Now we all have to hold hands in a circle and start chanting "Global warming...global warming...global warming...".
This is a picture of mine on the day I bought it. It is larger now but it hasn't attracted my attention as a photographer since.
