A large growing species that can produce rosettes of perfectly regular leaves up to 10in in diameter. Offsets are freely produced, and it is only if they are removed that the largest
and most impressive rosettes will be produced.

Orange flowers with yellow tips are produced in cymes that emerge from between the leaves.

Coming originally from the mountains of central Mexico it has adapted well to conditions in the Agave House
and is looking really good and the fact that it isn't prickly is a bonus.

Unfortunately being good-looking and not prickly were to be its undoing. Sometime over the last couple
of days someone has visited the greengouse and walked off with it leaving me with the pot and the label!
These things happen, its probably just bored kids. Somewhere along the line I will replace it.
