Echeveria colorata f. brandtii
9th March 2017
A short compact rosetted plant in a beautiful sequence of colours. Discovered in Jalisco, Mexico in 1968
by E.C. Boutin and F. K. Brandt growing at an altitude of 6800ft. It was growing on a mossy rock
under oak trees near Laguna de Sayula on the road to Tapalpa. For a long time this was the only known location
but a larger population has since been found growing mixed with the typical form in the Barranca de Ferreria de Tula.
