I really like the stubby incurved leaves of this species, and it has spectacular large yellow flowers. I struggle sometimes to find distinctive things to say about the various
Echeveria species, so I looked to see if anybody else had written anything I could steal, and I found "Beautiful species." which sums it up nicely.

A species collected by Eric Walther in 1963 at Necaxa in Pueble, Mexico. Plants in cultivation are all
thought to be derived from this introduction.
