A species I have wanted to grow for some time, it is known to be cold hardy - it may even be tough enough to grow outside
in a dry position. The green flowers vary a little in colour but they are always remarkable.
The species ranges from South Dakota through to northern Mexico and a number if varieties have been named though for the
most part they intergrade where they meet.
