Echinopsis subdenudata

A small growing globular species with very few spines - a tiny detail that is much appreciated. Echinopsis
hybridise like naughty little monkeys if they get the chance and I don't think I am the only grower
who would appreciate a range of less spiny hybrids!
The species comes from Bolivia and Paraguay and has presented no special problems in the greenhouse.

The magnificent white flowers are produced on long flower tubes and although they only last a day or so
they are the most anticipated buds in the garden.
