Enkianthus campanulatus f. albiflorus
Archive entry 13.06.10
10th June 2010
I have been growing the beautiful white flowered form of the species for a couple of decades, but it has been trapped in the shade
of an autumn cherry for a long time, and not performed particularly well. I am slowly removing branches
and letting more light in and getting more flowers as a result.
Mine is to shaded and too damp in the autumn to produce much in the way of colour, but it can produce the most astonishing scarlet display.
