Epimedium 'Black Sea'

A hybrid between the large yellow E.pinnatum colchicum and E.pubigerum, which softens the yellow colour and adds red dots to the outside of the flower. A vigorous plant that can produce distinctive dark burnished foliage in winter if it is sufficiently stressed.
The plant is associated with the number CC.960141. It is said to have been discovered by a Dutch Nurseryman in a batch of E. pinnatum colchicum
