First collected in Guizhou, China in 1898 but not recognised as new until 1933 when it was named. Not in cultivation until Mikinori Ogisu introduced it
under his numbers OG 81012 and OG 93009,
A low growing plant with very large pale pink flowers. Long thin rhizomes allow the clumps to spread out rapidly,
and makes an excellent plant for a pot, where the patchwork of leaves and flowers can be fully appreciated.
