I bought it last year, and haven't seen the flowers yet, but the red autumn colour has been good. Discovered in the garden of Judy Springer
in Virginia.
I have only seen one picture of the flower, and it looks more like E.x rubrum to me, but I'm not going to rock the boat until I have seen it myself.
Either way it is quite striking with pale pink sepals and bright red petals.
