A beautiful species from Japan, Korea, Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands.

It has a reputation for being difficult to establish, I am hoping that buying a plant in full growth might help. I didn't see it last year and assumed that it had died,
so a re-appearance this spring is very welcome.
