Eucalyptus nutans
27th August 2017
A small growing species about 4m tall from the south coast of Western Australia. It was brought to my attention
as a species with red flowers that might be more tolerant of frost than E. ficifolia. It took a while to
find a source of seed but I have grown a dozen or so and they have survived a couple of winters under cold glass.
The next step is to try one outside, and possibly one in the Agave house.
