Eucomis comosa 'Sparkling Burgundy'

Probably the best of the red leaved selections of Eucomis comosa, certainly the commonest. The best colour appears on plants grown in the border in full sun.
Selected by Plant Delights Nursery in 1983.
Tall growing with a sturdy spike of pinkish flowers.
