I have been chasing bulbs of this interesting form for a couple of years, and suddenly this year they are everywhere!
Somebody has clearly raised a lot of seedlings. Parallel stripes on the underside of the leaves.

This variety is said to grow taller than the typical variety, up to 1.2m, and to grow in swampier places.
