Eucomis pallidiflora ssp. pole-evansii
Eucomis pole-evansii is the tallest growing of the species. The flower spikes can rise to five feet
or more. My plants stayed in the greenhouse for too long last summer and became drawn and wobbly, so this
picture was taken at Kobakoba in somerset.
I have seen it planted in a border forming magnificent clumps of foliage five feet tall.
