Fatsia japonica 'Spiders Web'
29th July 2007
A Japanese selection of Fatsia that is starting to be distributed more widely. The large shiny leaves are frosted and speckled with white, especially at the margins. Under
some unfortunate conditions it can look just like an attack of red spider mites.

It is very slow growing, but that isn't the problem here. I left it starved in a pot for a year or two and it died.
I spent a year ar two thinking I didn't really like it anyway, and then I bought a new one and resolved to take a bit more
care.
17th August 2017
It has had some fabulous moments in the greenhouse and now it has gone outside. There is always the hope that it will
become even more magnificent given space.
