A very large flowered species with the same bright red flowers as Freesia laxa.

A summer growing species that grows in KwaZulu-Natal extending north into tropical Africa. I wasn't expecting it to be particularly hardy
in my greenhouse, but it seems to have survived. Far less invasive than F. laxa which I have now thrown out
before it got out of hand.

I'm not sure that I even have a pot for it now, but it continues to appear from time to time in the Nerine pots.
