Grown from seed from the Alpine Garden Society, I was delighted by this pale pink flower when it opened.
Freesia species from seed don't always turn out as expected and I was starting to get a little jaded
about them, but this has restored my faith a little.

My seed grown group are slightly variable, but not enough to worry me, just enough to make it impossible to pick a favourite.
A localised species from the Southwest Cape where it is reported from moist soils at woodland edges. The broad yellow mark in
the centre of the lower tepal is a distinguishing feature.
