Furcraea parmentieri
14th September 2013
A young plant I was given as a bulbil. It came as F. longaeva and as I understand it, the local plants with pretentions to
that name are F. parmentieri. I am open to correction having no skills in distinguishing the species.
Growing in the Agave house where it will be too dry but where it will survive the cold. Outside here I have killed
it a few times in the winter. I am hoping that if it is too dry, it will produce a feeble flower short enough
to fit under the roof.
