One of my favourite forms of the species, it flowers throughout the year except during freezing weather.

Long arching stems will stramble up to 2 or 3m given the support of a friendly tree or small building.

It is a magnificent thing. Unfortunately at the end of 2020 it showed signs of infestation with fuchsia gall mite. I have cut it to the ground in the hope that I can
get rid of the mites before they get a hold on the garden.
