Galanthus artjuschenkoae

An endemic taxon from Transcaucasia where it grows in Armenia and Talish. It grows in beech-oak-hornbeam
forests at about 1500m altitude. It grows in a very restricted area and is thought to be vulnerable to deforestation
and the collection of flowers for decoration.
Often included within G. transcaucasicus, there are some difference in leaf vernation
that may be significant.
