Galanthus 'Celadon'
18th February 2014
Selected by Amy Doncaster from seedlings in her garden in Chandlers Ford. A few bulbs were distributed
and by the time she decided it wasn't worth a name it was already too late. I have become very fond of
G.plicatus forms so although I would like to respect her wishes, I also want to keep the plant.
My solution is to respect the gardener and not judge her remarkable talent on the basis of this plant.
G. plicatus enjoys making whooppee at every opportunity and in this case I would guess it had been having its wicked way with
G. plicatus ssp. byzantinus (or something else).
