South African daisies that have long been popular as stylish cut flowers (in a happy hippy sort of way). Traditionally they are not
regarded as hardy but they are tantalising close. In recent years breeders have been distributing strains for use in containers
outside that they claim as hardy and although I am not entirely convinced, I am too excited to dismiss the idea
without trial. Repeated trial.
I killed a yellow one last year, this pink one is on the way out, and I have a scarlet ready to sacrifice to the coming winter.
A new improved even hardier than the last hardy strain is now being offered and yes, I will be trying it!
