Hakonechloa macra 'All Gold'
26th August 2012
I might have thought that it was another pale greenish grass but then I saw it growing through the middle of
a grinding stone at the Garden House. It managed a spectacular balance between magnificent and twee
and it immediately became a 'must have' plant.
Smaller than the green form, it doesn't do the same wobbling dance in a breeze but it glows with beauty
and doesn't require any special care to look good.
