Hamamelis x intermedia 'Aurora'
13th March 2013
A hybrid raised by J.H.M. van Heyningen in the Netherlands in around 1980. It is believed to be a cross between
H. x intermedia 'Vesna' and H.mollis 'Pallida'. The pale buff flowers are strongly scented
and freely produced on a spreading shrub.
I saw it looking wonderful and distinctive at Wisley and jumped at the chance to get one.
