Hemiboea sp.
26th June 2008
I have been growing this for a couple of years, but the large green leaves have been rather ordinary. It came to me as Aeschynanthus mimetes
and the most interesting thing to note about it was the hardiness (unexpected in an Aeschynanthus).

And then it flowered, and it is clearly not an Aeschynanthus. I am fairly certain that it is a Hemiboea, but I haven't managed
a more detailed identification yet.
