Hedychium coccineum 'Disney'

A very distinctive form of Hedychium coccineum with leaves closely spaced along the pseudostems. When the
young canes are growing they look very like Euphorbia lathyrus.
It has also been quite compact for me, but growers in the USA report it reaching the same height as
other Hedychium coccineum forms. My plant is still very young.
Originally named by Dave Case, who found it growing at Disney World. Tom Wood has distributed a very similar
(probably the same) plant as 'Orange Brush'.

This plant has become rather taller than expected. It was probably too shaded during growth - I have too many
Hedychiums in a small space.
