Hedychium 'Dr.Moy'

Raised by Dr Ying Doon Moy at San Antonio Botanic Gardens in Texas. A hybrid between Hedychium flavum
and Hedychium coccineum, it has striking variegated leaves, and is one of very few variegated
Hedychiums known (variegated H.forrestii and H.coronarium have also been reported).
It makes a striking plant for a large pot, but probably isn't hardy enough to grow outside.
The flowers are a surprisingly subtle yellow considering its H.coccineum parentage.
