Hedychium gracile glaucum
Archive entry 03.11.13

A plant that was being distributed in cultivation before the large scale stocks of Hedychium gracile
were introduced. Kobakoba say that a plant they had under this name turned out to be a form of
Hedychium coccineum. My plant has yet to flower. The foliage is not really distinctive.
(Though it does get a bit more impressive than this winter photo shows!)
The plant has now flowered, and is a form of H.gracile with slightly larger inflorescences than the typical form.
