A very large growing ginger with distinctive sheaves of alternate leaves. Very large pure yellow flowers
emerge from cone like, imbricately bracted heads. My oldest plant has been six inches taller at flowering every year
since I obtained it, and is now pushing at the roof of the greenhouse (11'). Very late to flower.
