Hedychium 'Tai Alpha'

The "Tai" series of hybrid Hedychium were all raised by Doyle Smittle, previously of the
University of Georgia and selected for their floral impact. They are slowly being distributed
more widely.

The description from Plantation Gardens says:
"Plants are 4-6feet tall. Blooms begin in early July in Georgia. The 8-12 inch inflorescence produces 40-60
creamy yellow, 2-inch butterfly shaped blossoms having 2.5 inch light red stamens."
