Hedychium 'Tai Mammoth'

The "Tai" series of hybrid Hedychium were all raised by Doyle Smittle, previously of the
University of Georgia and selected for their floral impact. They are slowly being distributed
more widely.

The description from Plantation Gardens says:
"Plants are 5-6 feet tall. Blooms begin in late June in Georgia and continue until frost.
The 12-16 inch inflorescence produces 90-125 white 3.5 inch butterfly shaped flowers
having creamy white stamens."
