Hedychium 'Tresco No.1'

A hybrid that originated on Tresco and was introduced by Peter Clough when he was head gardener.
Supposed to be a hybrid between Hedychium coronarium and H.gardnerianum, it is one
of a number of plants in circulation of the same parentage.
There is also a 'Tresco 2' which is very similar. I have only seen the two in flower together
once, and the grower couldn't remember which was which, and I don't know either well enough
to comment.
