This dainty little species has only come into cultivation recently from China. It is not yet clear how well it will adapt to cultivation. It disappears completely in autumn, and doesn't appear again until spring.

I obtained this plant as 'Pale Green Flowered', and when it opened I was a little surprised that it was so clearly pink!

As the flower aged, the green marking along the midrib of the tepals expanded, and the flower became more distinctively green.
