Hemerocallis 'Contessa'
I like 'Contessa'. It is small flowered, but very very orange! Fairly tidy and compact.
It was raised by Fischer in 1955, so it is old, and it doesn't do anything that isn't done by a mass of other varieties, but there is something about it that I find very satisfying.
